card box

my inspiration for the card box was the box from snow white. the queen asks the huntsman to cut out snow whites heart and put it in this box........ romantic.

i bought an unfinished wooden box from michaels, some acrylic paints, and cut an opening in the top. my fiance and i painted it together.

favors

i was originally going to have apple centerpieces, but decided to do apple favors instead. i looked at alot of images of candy apple wedding favors, they looked so good as a favor and added to the table decoration. sugarcraft.com has everything i need to make them. im going to attach ribbon and a tag, something to the effect of "poisoned apple".

roses

red roses are going to play a big role in my decorating and planning for the wedding. since snow white is an outdoorsy girl, i decided on this tiara and jewelry set. the set is adorn with red flowers, leaves, and pearls. perfect for the snow white look.

i went to michaels and found red rose bouquets for my bridesmaids for only $6.50 a piece. my centerpieces will also have roses, i will post pics when i have a sample of them.

invitations

so im starting the planning with my invites. i ordered plain invitations from db, and decided to personalize them. i bought dark red ribbon and ivory roses, took the hot glue gun to it and the result was really cute belly bands. i also bought snow white seals for my inner envelopes. im so happy with my invites, i think they will give the guests a good idea of what to expect at the wedding.
